GRAND PROMENADE (Check in and Social Time)

Voyageurs, as you know, the annual Grand Promenade for Washington is scheduled for the 3rd of August.  That is a Saturday, at Voiture 99 in Vancouver, WA.  Word has been out for over two months now.  As of this date, July 23, 2024, only a handful of voyageurs have registered to attend.  In view of this lack of interest I have directed the management of Voiture 99 to return all registration fees and cancel the banquet scheduled for Saturday evening.  The Promenade will still be held on Aug 3rd. At Voiture 99 beginning at 10AM for the Cheminot and 1 PM for the Promenade.  Officers for next year will be elected.  I hope that representatives from voitures within driving distance of Vancouver can see their way to attend and have their voices heard.
